Danalm and Otaku99 are being nice by giving you advice. Vectoring isn't that bad, especially if you just start slow. Meaning, strokes before shapes, and maybe a higher res scan. Screenshots are hard, trust me (intensive vector +reCG)...
and btw Danalm has two walls cause he's lazy. and how many colors does this have?

Hm, I donno if you read your userpage comments... maybe I should comment on your wallpaper thread instead... but:
It's too bad that you give up now after so much work. But rules are rules! There are many gorgeous Eureka 7 images out there that is official art so you should look for those and try again. But I really suggest you use a free program like Paint.NET or GIMP. Otherwise, your wallpaper will only be using the original image and pasting lines or circles or boxes on it. That doesn't make a good wallpaper! AP wants us to do something creative with the images like make our own BG or something like that. Well, if you look at the high quality wallpapers here, you know what kind of things have to be done.
Well, good luck!
Oh, by the way, I think saving a BMP as PNG will significantly lower the file size without losing quality... I'm not really sure though.
